Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 Image, Features, Pricing Leaked Ahead of Launch


Most discussed and famous Smartphone brand Xiaomi unveiling the Redmi Pro 2 in China. For new Redmi Pro 2 company offering an OLED display and dual cameras at the back. According to the leak originating out of China, the Pro series of Redmi it looks like a new model which is slated to make its debut. The leak shows that the Redmi Pro will feature a 5.5 inch full HD display and at the back, there is a single camera. Though, it is with a better Sony IMX362 sensor with 1.4µm pixel and Dual Pixel autofocus & battery of 4500 mAh.

The first installment of Redmi Pro was released in July 2016 and the phone comes with 5.50-inch display with 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels of resolution at per inch, PPI of 342 pixels. Xiaomi Redmi Pro designed with a 4050 mAh battery wich is nonremovable and runs in Android platform. The camera was 13 megapixels on the back and for selfies, there was 5-megapixel front camera. If we look at the storage then on that part Redmi Pro was also strong. It was featured with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory storage. The memory space can be expanded up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

From the leaked image it we are able to know that Redmi Pro 2 will be featured in two variants. One is with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage inside it and the price will approximately be ¥1,799 ($260) for retail. The other version is with 4 GB and 64 GB memory storage and the price will be expected to be ¥1,599 ($230). This is the all about the upcoming Redmi Pro 2 smartphone and all this information is according to the new leak.


The first generation Redmi Pro was featured by a MediaTek Helio X20 processor with a higher end design feature with the Helio X25 SoC. But this time it seems Xiaomi will shift to chipset of Snapdragon 66x series. And for this reason, it will be now more interesting for Xiaomi lovers to see what it exactly offers on their new device. In the Snapdragon 600 series, Qualcomm has not detailed anything about a new SoC. So we have to consider this fact as it may be a while before we see the new Redmi Pro Smartphone.
