iPhone 8’s New Processor Will Be the Most Powerful Yet

iPhone 8: There is little doubt that the iPhone 8 will herald in a new age for smartphones, and several quarters are all rife with numerous speculations about just what can be expected about the iPhone 8. And while we’re tempted to dismiss a few of them on the grounds that they sound a little too fanciful, we are afraid (or rather, very happy) that many of them come with some amount of solid backing.
So while the most recent smartphone launches over the last year have left us feeling that the industry has embraced a tad bit of complacency in terms of any real innovation (including the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus), it has been well hinted at that the iPhone 8 is about to change all of that. And while there are some radical design changes that the company is expected to incorporate into the iPhone 8, we are more interested in what it could be packing inside.

We all know that the Apple iPhone 8 will come with the next major software update from Apple. Ever since its arrival, the iOS has been giving its rival Android a steady competition despite its many initial shortcomings. But since then Apple has come a long way, and the iOS 11is expected to be nothing short of revolutionary. That is obviously to happen if the iPhone 8 undergoes some really cool upgrades, but from what we can hear, this year is not really going to be about upgrades. Instead, Apple is aiming to bring something to the world of smartphones that will change the way look at them today.
To start with, we all expect the iPhone 8 to be coming with the new A11 processor built with 10nm architecture, which is expected to be both faster and battery efficient compared to the models we have seen so far. This new processor might also lead to an iPhone that is much slimmer and lighter than the former models due to reduced battery size. Fore as we know, it is no longer necessary to include big bulky batteries to have a smartphone running for longer.

Apart from this, there are other wonders that the A11 chip might help the iPhone 8 achieve. We have all heard rumors that Apple might redo their display completely in the upcoming device, and they will start by switching to flexible OLED panels, for which they have reportedly signed a deal with Samsung. But that’s not all, as in the iPhone 8, the display might be used to serve many other functions, including security.

This will of course be a result of the removal of the home button as we have come to know it. According to sources, the iPhone 8 may come with a completely bezel less design, with the entire front panel of the smartphone consisting solely of the screen. But if that is the case, then the home button could either be moved to the back of the device where manufacturers usually place their fingerprint sensors, or, as part of a much more impressive feat, we could see it being integrated into the display itself. And no, we’re not throwing stones in the dark either, for there are patents to back this up.

The iPhone 8 will need a much more powerful processor than the existing one in order to power such demanding pieces of technology. It comes as no surprise, then, that the upcoming A11 processor has already been hailed as being the most powerful processor in the world when it finally comes out.

Wrap Up
We might be a little too far away from the official unveiling of the iPhone 8, but with the way new reports are surfacing, we know that Apple is hard at work to bring something that will be truly awe inspiring. We just hope that the iPhone 8 can live up to the tremendous amount of hype that has been built up surrounding it.
